Change to parking violations in Ammon

The city of Ammon has made changes to a city ordinance that has caused several people problems during the past.

Prior to the changes, a vehicle could be towed if it was not parked properly during a snow proclamation. Now the city will give a $50 ticket. The council said those ticketed would have to pay the city of Ammon for the violation.

The council passed the resolution unanimously at its City Council meeting Thursday evening.
