Panel to review ISU president’s residence

A 17-person committee has been selected to assess the current condition of Servel House, which has been Idaho State University’s presidential residence for the last 63 years.

The panel will determine whether the home should be repaired, renovated, or restructured to meet the needs of the university today and into the future. The committee will also review potential options.

The group will provide a written recommendation to the administration.

Members of the committee were chosen from the University’s alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community leaders. The group includes Dirk Driscoll, Shelbie Harris, Kim Hirning, Valerie Hoybjerg (committee chair), Sarah Knudson, Amy Manning, Phil Meador, Eva Nye, Dan Ordyna, Tom Ottaway, Jordan Reed, John Sargent, Corey Schou, Jenny Semenza, Syd Sharp, Kyle Son and Josh Tolman.

The committee will accept suggestions and comments at servelcomm@isu.edu.
