IFPD looking for kidnapper

Idaho Falls Police are looking for a man that abducted a 14-year-old boy around 10 Tuesday night, took him to an unknown location and raped him.

Police will only say this happened in the Southeast portion of Idaho Falls. No specific address was given to protect the identity of the victim.

The abductor is said to be a “buff” and “fat” male in his 20s or 30s, 5’9″ tall, with dark brown skin and short, dark brown hair.

He is also described as a “gangster” wearing new Nike brand skater shoes, all black clothing, gold rings on his hands. He also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and was clean shaven.

He is believed to be driving a white newer “boxy” type van with a sliding door, the van was also described as “clean.”

The van did not have any striping and had three captain’s chairs and a bed in the back of it with purple and pink bedding. This was not a seat that lays down into a bed — it was an actual bed in the back of the van.

The license plate on the van is unknown.

The victim says he was threatened with a gun, but a weapon was not seen.
