Eastern Idaho hotel named best in state
Teton Springs Lodge and Spa in Victor has been named the best hotel in Idaho.
This is the fourth consecutive year the resort has earned the title from the “U.S. News and World Report.”
The hotel general manager Jeff Naylor says the location has a lot to do with that.
The outdoor activities like fly fishing and hiking appeal to a lot of people.
Naylor said this is an honor because it really puts Idaho on the map.
“You know especially, you start talking about Teton Valley you know, they’ve heard of Sun Valley and some of the other areas in Boise or in Idaho, however, Teton Valley is like ‘Where the heck is that’ They’ll leave saying ‘Dont do too much advertising or marketing. This is kind of a best kept secret, and we want to keep it to ourselves,'” he said.
Naylor also credits the staff for the hotel’s success.
