100 pounds of pot found in traffic stop

Idaho State Police made a big drug bust in Payette County on Wednesday.

Just before 8 p.m., troopers stopped Kennard Mueller, 39, of Jacksonville, Fla., eastbound on Interstate 84, for a traffic violation.

A police dog was alerted to the odor of drugs on the outside of the 2007 Honda Ridgeline. A search of the car revealed marijuana with a total weight of 106 pounds. Police believe the marijuana was en route from Washington to Illinois.

Mueller is being charged with felony drug trafficking.
