Fremont County firefighters investigate house explosion
A St. Anthony woman is in the hospital after a house explosion Sunday.
South Fremont County fire officials said the explosion happened around 6 p.m on E. 2nd North Street. Firefighters were able to contain the fire, but were on standby for hot spots.
Fire chief Chris Hill said neighbors helped the woman out of her home before firefighters arrived. The woman suffered injuries and was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital.
No one else was in the home at the time of the fire. Officials have not determined what caused the explosion.
