5 arrested in check fraud case
Five people from Idaho Falls were arrested late Monday morning in a check fraud case.
Idaho Falls police were called out to the East Idaho Credit Union on Woodruff after getting a report about an ongoing check fraud scheme involving multiple financial institutions.
Christina M. McGuire, 29, Brandy K. Moon, 28, are each charged with a count of conspiracy to commit check fraud, and Roy F. Hicks Jr., 33, will face two counts conspiracy to commit check fraud.
They were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
Two additional women were arrested, but charges against them have been dropped, the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office said, but investigation is continuing.
