ISU hosts fair for veterans

Students at Idaho State University learned more about the veteran community at their school today.

As part of Veteran and Military Appreciation Week, ISU’s veteran student services center hosted a resource fair on the Quad. It was meant for students to see exactly what the office does and what resources are available to veteran students.

The Army and National Guard also were there for students to explore post-graduation opportunities.

“There doesn’t have to be a separation in any way,” said Todd Johnson, director of ISU’s veteran student services. “We’re all one big group of like-minded people thinking about education and freedom and I just wanted to share that with the whole campus.”

This is the first time ISU is celebrating Veteran and Military Appreciation Week.
