Blackfoot Dog Show underway
The Blackfoot Dog Show started Friday at the fairgrounds.
The annual event brings thousands of dogs and people to town, and this year is one of the biggest ever. There are about 1,600 dogs competing.
They come from all over the country and world. Most people there have been on the road hitting up dog shows all over.
Handlers and owners said it isn’t easy.
“You’re either born with it or not, you either love dogs or you don’t. You know if you’re going to get into showing dogs, it takes commitment,” said show chair Tim Reese.
The dog show is free and runs through Sunday.
