This year’s weather raises problems for gardeners

Keeping a garden healthy may be a little more challenging this summer because of the fluctuating weather.

Garden experts have been seeing a few different problems that mostly have to do with how much water plants are getting. Experts said some people are over compensating because of the heat.

Too much water can cause fungus and insect issues- both of which kill your plants.

The manager of Town and Country, Drew French, encourages people to continue gardening despite the crazy weather.

“As homeowners, gardeners, people with trees and shrubs, I feel your pain. It can be hard, but don’t get frustrated. Just come in, visit with us, and we will help you the best we can to make you successful,” said French.
