Independent investigator to look into Angie Dodge murder
The Bonneville County prosecutor’s office is revisiting the 1996 murder of Angie Dodge by hiring an outside investigator to look into the case.
The office will hire S. Robinson & Associates.
Since he was convicted, various advocacy groups have questioned Christopher Tapp’s guilt. Those groups have looked into different aspects of this case.
The prosecuting attorney says he wants to bring in someone who will look at everything.
“There’s been enough question raised by various groups into the proceedings that have gone on over the last 18 years, that the public deserves confidence in what’s being done here, and the investigator it will shed some light on that,” said prosecuting attorney Danny Clark.
