Online school becoming a viable option in Idaho

An online Idaho school works as a public charter school to give students opportunities both in their academic and everyday lives.

It’s called Inspire Connections Academy and here’s how it works: parents and students can go online or attend an information session to enroll in the school.

Students take classes that fit their schedule online.

The program also offers field -trips and opportunities for the students to meet in person.

Students also have the ability to advance their education with different curriculum options.

“We have AP courses, we have dual credit courses so they count both as high school and college credits. We [also] have students that make real end-roads to their Associates degree,” said Mark Plummer, master teacher for Inspire Connections Academy.
