Assisted living center welcomes 108 year old woman

An Idaho Falls woman is 108 years young.

Dora Odell was originally at an assisted living community in California where she shared one room with three people.

The 108-year old moved here earlier this month.

Now she has her own room at the Broadway Fields assisted living center.

She credits her longevity to her upbringing.

“I had good parents, christian parents and they raised me…always obeyed them and done what they said to and that was in my life,” said Odell.

She will celebrate her 109th birthday next April.
