TV crew to explore haunted history of Lava Hot Springs Inn
A production crew from the Travel Channel will visit Lava Hot Springs this week to investigate the Lava Hot Springs Inn.
Inn owner George Katsilometes says there have been at least fifteen reports of para-normal activity over the past 27 years. Those reports have ranged from people seeing ghosts or shadows to people hearing banging sounds.
He thinks the past may have something to do with it. The Inn was first built as a hospital in 1924, became a rest home, and was converted into a hotel in 1988.
