Carmus film festival plays “Almosting It” at the Paramount Theatre

The Carmus Jamboree is this weekend and it is kicking off with a film festival Thursday .
The movie will be “Almosting It,” starring Lee Majors. The film is a romantic comedy, rated PG.
The producer, Mike Tetro, went to school at Idaho Falls High School, and the movie was filmed in Boise.
Director Will Von Taugen is actually the main character in the film. He wrote the film in college and decided to bring it to life.
It’s about a young man who uses two men from a senior’s center as mentors to find love.

Christine Campbell, from Carmus Production, said, “The Paramount owners are fabulous to work with. They have always done things for family. They have low rates and costs for families. It’s a great family place. And that’s what Carmus is all about. So it ties hand in hand. Why not have it here. Have the director and producer of this film, which features starring Lee Majors, filmed right here in Idaho. Why not?”

Carmus will be having a film festival with the Paramount every year as an opportunity for families.
Events for the Carmus Jamboree will continue all weekend at Sandy Downs.
