YMCA to offer Family Fitness Program

Beginning Sept. 8, the Idaho Falls YMCA will offer a new Family Fitness Program.

“The YMCA is all about healthy living and social responsibility,” said YMCA Fitness Director Jo Lawrence. “This is part of our healthy living. It ties in by keeping our community fit and teaching them about healthy lifestyles. It’s going to consist of a lot of different things.”

Lawrence said the program is a great one to get families to start moving together in a fun, healthy way. The program will include team building activities, boot camp style classes and nutritional education.

Classes will be engaging and is offered to kids 5 to 17 years old and their parents. For more information on costs and how to register, head to the YMCA website or call 523-0600.
