Accident backs up traffic on I-15, 3 injured in crash

An accident on I-15 between Ft. Hall and Pocatello caused a traffic delay earlier today. The accident was reported around 11 a.m. Friday.

Grant Davis, of Pocatello, was driving a black 2002 GMC Envoy when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled. The SUV crashed through a guardrail and landed on its roof near milepost 76.

Davis and two others in the vehicle, Rosemary Davis and Beverly Thompson, were transported to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. All three are in stable condition.

Davis was wearing his seatbelt, but the two passengers were not wearing one.

The accident caused traffic to back up for at least 4 miles at one point.
