Schools participate in the Great Idaho Shakeout

Schools in District 93 participated Thursday in the Great Idaho Shakeout.

The shakeout is a drill that simulates what could happen to the schools during an earthquake. The students and faculty rehearsed having an actual earthquake by having the students duck, cover, and hold on under their desks. After the initial “quake” the faculty receive instruction on where to search in the building for potential problems.

Join us tonight on Local News 8 at 5 and KIDK Eyewitness News 3 at 10 p.m. to see how the students and faculty did.
