Ashton man arrested for delivery, federal warrant

Idaho Falls Police arrested 26-year-old Michael W. Martindale for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver Tuesday morning.

Martindale of Ashton was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail for a federal ATF warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to reports, officers responded to the 1500 block of Alice around 11:41 a.m. for possible drug activity in the alley. Officers contacted Martindale and 50-year-old Ronald Myers. Officers learned both Martindale and Myers had outstanding warrants.

Martindale was taken into custody. He was also found in possession of Methamphetamine, two glass Meth pipes, two butane lighters and a scale.

Myers of Idaho Falls was also taken into custody for his Bonneville County Probation Violation warrant. Myers was also arrested for misdemeanor assault and battery on an officers after he physically resisted officers. He swung his elbows striking one of the officers and threatened to punch another.
