High school students visit cosmetology school
Local High School students took a tour of Austin Kade Academy Wednesday morning to learn more about their passion for cosmetology.
They were able to see cosmetology students apply the skills they learned.
They also received a tour from CEO, Tyler Price, who was willing to answer any questions they had.
The visiting students , who got to skip school, were pampered with manicures and pedicures.
The day of job shadowing helped the high school girls get a feel for the cosmetology industry.
Sierra Brockman, one of the students who visited, said, “After high school I want to learn how to do people’s hair and things like that.”
