Disability Mentoring Day luncheon held at EITC

Students who participated in the communities annual Disability Mentoring Day celebrated with a luncheon on Friday to celebrate their job shadowing success.

The program aims to help high school students find a career they want to go into- and sets up the opportunity for them to shadow a worker from the field.

Chance Cody, a student at Idaho Falls High School, shadowed the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and she said it works fantastically.
“It’s helped me figure out the career I want. Don’t let any disability hold you back. Whatever you set your mind, you can do. Thank you for disability day.”

Disability Mentoring Day is held the third Wednesday of October.
