Oscar Mayer Wienermobile tours Idaho Falls this week

The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be spending the week driving around Idaho Falls.

Starting Tuesday a variety of events will be held around Idaho Falls so you can stop by and get a photo with the hot dog on wheels. During the day Tuesday Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper will be riding in the mobile giving it a tour of the city.

Tuesday evening the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will park at Eastern Idaho Technical College to participate in their annual Trunk or Treat event. The annual event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend. If you’d like to host a trunk at the event there is a $35 registration fee and you can get more information from EITC by calling 535-5398. The $35 fee goes toward the EITC Student Scholarships fund.

The wienermobile will also be at several other events this week, including bingo at the Idaho Falls Senior Center, Boo at the Tautphaus Park Zoo and a stop at the Teton Cancer Institute Friday to say Boo to Cancer.
