Pocatello Zoo closes zoo season with “Zoo Boo”

Pocatello Zoo is closing for the season, but before they do, they decided to close it with a special event for the community on Halloween.

Zoo Boo invited the community to come out with family and children in costume today to take part in some prizes, games, and candy. Costume contests also took place. The zookeepers also had the animals in spirit with pumpkin enrichment treats in the exhibits.

“This is one of our biggest events at the zoo, and we’re excited to put it on for the community every year. Because it’s a safe way for kids to go trick-or-treating. They also get to come to the zoo and see the animals. So, it’s just one of the way to provide great fun for the community,” said Cory Coffman, Curator of Education, Pocatello Zoo.
