Two week investigation leads to arrests solving 15 to 20 crimes
An investigation started by the Power County Sheriff’s Office has taken multiple turns leading to the involvement of Power County, Bannock County, the City of Pocatello and Chubbuck in making a number of arrests and serving multiple search warrants.
The investigation concluded Thursday morning at 8549 North Parks Street in Pocatello when the Easter Idaho Special Response Team was utilized to enter the home accompanied by several members of law enforcement from Power County, Bannock County, Pocatello Police, Chubbuck Police and the Idaho State Police.
In the home the law enforcement team found evidence that will help solve approximately 15 to 20 burglaries and thefts from the various involved areas.
The team also found drugs at several of the locations they were investigated. Those drugs include methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana.
Multiple people have been detained and arrested however the charges and names have not been released yet because of the complexity of the case.
The Power County Sheriff’s office says they will release more information as soon as possible.
