Gun manufacturing business is booming in Wyoming

One of the world’s premiere gun manufacturers is right our backyard.

The Star Valley business Freedom Arms is most known for building specialized single action revolvers.

The company makes guns for hunting, collecting and competitive shooting.

Bob Baker, the president of Freedom Arms, says they are not a high-volume manufacturer, but a high-quality one.

“The big companies, they make more in a day than we make in a year,” Baker said. “But we do very specialized stuff that would be very difficult for them to do.”
