Finding solutions for postal mail delays
Pocatello Mayor, Brian Blad and Chubbuck Mayor, Kevin England held a meeting Friday morning at City Hall to discuss solutions for mail processing delays.
City leaders joined the group and lay all problems on the table, and hopefully, come up with solutions.
Mayor Blad says it’s been frustrating to a lot of people who receive their mail late often. It’s especially crucial for people who need prescription pills or important documents to arrive on time.
The mayor says he refuses to make more trips to Washington D.C. to combat the issue, he wants something done about it finally. He’s made plans with the City of Pocatello to make a PSA radio announcement soon to address the issue and what people can do about it.
“The best thing people can do for now is, report late mail to your local post office,” said Mayor Blad.
