Pocatello Raceway car show welcomes back auto group
The Pocatello Raceway put on a car show Saturday at the Robert Allen Auto Group car lot. The show of race cars was to recognize the Robert Allen Auto Group back in business in the Gate City. The dealership featured 33 race cars driven by the men and women who will be racing in them next month.
Announcer of the raceway, Nate graves says awards were given out to certain drivers from each race class.
“Race car drivers, male and female, who race specifically at raceway. So pretty much all the cars you see here today are the cars you’ll see during the season at the raceway. These cars are specifically built for circle-track racing,” said Graves.
He says after much success the raceway had this year with the car show, it’s likely the show will return next year as well.
