Car damaged in hit and run crash restored

With the help of other businesses, an Idaho Falls auto body shop has restored a car that was heavily damaged in a hit and run crash March 23rd.

Kelly Cleverley had just purchased the Pontiac Grand Am so she’d have reliable transportation for doctors visits and other errands. The crash made the car undrivable.

B-K Auto Collision owner Travis Spencer stepped up to repair the car with donated labor. Dynamic Towing provided towing and rims for the car, while Woody Smith Hyandai provided a discount on tires and Intermountain Recyclers helped find the parts.

“I looked forward to getting my car back and being able to have transportation,” said Cleverley. “It’s acutally in better running condition now with the new tires and axles. “I greatly, greatly, appreciate it. The most I could do is get a thank you card and just tell everybody that needs help to come here.”

There has been no information on who the hit and run driver was.
