Cause of death released for suspect in theft investigation
Brandon Lenker was wanted in connection with a stolen 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser back in April.
Police found his body in May on the Fort Hall reservation.
An autopsy has now been completed. Bannock County coroner Kim Quick confirmed the cause of death was penetrating head trauma.
No other details about the autopsy or Lenker’s death are being released at this time.
The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this case as a probable homicide.
