Blackfoot Police seek hit and run suspect

The Blackfoot Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a recent hit and run accident.

The suspect left in a vehicle after an accident onMonday, June 13th, at around 1:15 p.m. Blackfoot police say the suspect hit an 11-year-old boy as he was crossing the street at the Meridian and Broadway. The boy was not seriously injured in the accident. The vehicle did not stop after the accident and continued driving towards Fort Hall.

The department is trying to identify the driver of the vehicle. Blackfoot Police say the vehicle is possibly a newer Dodge Dart. The driver was described as female and travelling with two dogs in the car.
