Pocatello Nissan celebrates grand opening after move
Thursday marked the grand opening of the Pocatello Nissan Dealership on Flandro Drive.
The celebration started with lunch and then a ribbon cutting, which was cut by owner, Chris Russell among many community members and city leaders. Pocatello’s Mayor Brian Blad was there to help pay tribute to the opening and the newly remodeled building. It is a part of the continuation of growth in town, and slowly but surely receiving a decent share of it.
Russell was excited about the move and happy to be closer to the rest of the auto shops on Flandro Drive.
“We decided to move up on Flandro, because that’s where the commerce is going in pocatello. There’s more traffic up here, and we believe our business is going to grow right here. So, not only to sell more cars, but to employ more people as well. So we can give more back to the community than we already do,” said Russell.
The Nissan Dealership’s old location was originally on Yellowstone Avenue in Pocatello.
