Families come together after Blackfoot wreck and fire
The families affected by last week’s deadly wreck and fire in Blackfoot gathered on Saturday near the Hawker Funeral Home. They remembered William K. Hong, the man who died from the car crash that started a fire at his home.
The family of five that was displaced also received love and support from those who attended.
Their home caught fire secondhand from the fire that started at William Hong’s house.
“We’re all exhausted but we’re doing good. We’re hanging in there. The support that we have been getting from the community surrounding Blackfoot and Pocatello, t’s been amazing. It’s been a blessing,” said Kiley Southworth, who’s home burned down.
They have started their search for a new home and are hoping to settle down in Pocatello.
The Blackfoot crash and fire happened on the evening of June 14th.
