I.F. Redevelopment Agency seeks public input on Bonneville Hotel project
The Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency is taking public comment on renovations for the Bonneville Hotel.
The agency put out a Request for Proposal to developers for renovation plans. The agency has gotten three different proposals.
This project is being partly funded by public money, so the agency wants to know what you think about each proposal.
“Are there specific things the public wants to see happen in that building? What are their wishes? What would they like to see in the downtown?” Executive Director Brad Cramer said. “The hope is that this is one of the pieces that helps downtown become a real vibrant place, to not only come for entertainment, which I think there’s a lot of offerings now, but to live as well.”
The project applicants will present their proposals at a public meeting at noon on Aug. 18 in City Council chambers.
