Bonneville County Fair is in full swing
It is county fair time around Eastern Idaho. On Tuesday, members of 4-H prepped their animals and got ready for judging at the Bonneville County Fair.
4-H is a program that teaches leadership and responsibility, it also teaches about the livestock industry.
Each day, the county fair will have different livestock presented and judged. Tuesday, it was pigs, and later that night was the steers’ turn.
The county fair gives the 4-H kids a chance to show off their livestock.
“The most exciting part of the fair for everyone is just fair week. You train all summer — you train your animals, you work really hard with them, you feed them right. And then you get there and you get to get them judged and you get to show off what you’ve done all summer,” said 4-H groomer Linda Scoresby.
The Bonneville County Fair goes until Friday.
