Swan Valley man killed in crash on Highway 26
A Swan Valley man died Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 26 west of Swan Valley.
Idaho State Police said Larry E. Krueger, 66, was driving a Chevy pickup west, Steven Zabel of Bozeman, Montana was driving east in a motor home pulling a utility trailer.
Krueger’s vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane hitting Zabel.
Krueger was taken by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) where he died.
Zabel was taken to EIRMC by ground ambulance.
The highway was blocked for more than three hours while crews cleared the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
