Cliff Street/Maple Street and Yellowstone traffic signal out of service

The traffic signal at the Cliff Street/Maple Street and Yellowstone Avenue intersection will be out of service for four to six weeks.

The signal is out of service after a the signal equipment was damaged in a car accident on August 13. The state owned but city operated signal is being repaired but will take time to finish.

Two-way stop signs have been placed at Cliff Street/Maple Street. However, traffic traveling north and south on Yellowstone Avenue does not have to stop.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution at the intersection. The speed limit through the intersection is 25 MPH.
