Wyoming woman killed in ATV crash
An Alta, Wyoming woman is dead after an ATV crash Thursday near Swan Valley.
At around 11:30 a.m. Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Idaho Falls Ambulance, and Life Flight personnel were dispatched to the Porcupine Creek Trail off of the Fall Creek Rd. south west of Swan Valley for an ATV accident.
When deputies arrived they found a female rider administering CPR to the injured female victim. After exhausting all lifesaving efforts the female victim died. The woman was identified as 77-year-old Katherine Brooks of Alta, Wyoming.
Bonneville County deputies say that Brooks was riding her ATV near the top of the Porcupine Creek Trail when it rolled causing her injuries. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
