Granite Creek fire reported near Snake River
The Eastern Idaho Interagency Fire Center has sent a firefighting team to a new fire in the Antelope Flat area near the Snake River. The Granite Creek fire may have started in a grain field.
Since the fire threatened Bureau of Land Management land, a federal team consisting of 4 engines, a water tender and 2 dozers were dispatched.
As of 5:30 p.m., the fire has burned 25 acres.
