Active shooter training recommended to local business’s

Rexburg police held an informational meeting on Wednesday about the benefits of taking an Active shooter Training classes.

The meeting advised business owners to have their employees educated on how to escape a dangerous situation regarding an active shooter.

Office Manager of EZ-NetTools Alex Ary said more businesses should be prepared because situations like these are becoming more common.

“Consider that’s a possibility in regular day-to-day life and companies and individuals need to prepare for it in different ways. So it’s not something you just expect people to handle, you should have a part in preparing and handling those problems yourself,” Ary said.
