North Carolina resident injured in I-15 crash
A 21-year-old Gastonia, North Carolina woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 15 at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Idaho State Police identified the driver as Shaquan D. Burns. The crash happened at milepost 26, near the Malad Summit.
According to reports, Burn’s 2014 Hyundai Elantra was northbound when Burns lost control of the vehicle. It went into the median and overturned.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt. She was transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
Correction: It was reported earlier that Burns was killed in the accident and she was a man. That is incorrect.
