Sheriff’s office searching for man connected to murder of a woman

Update: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s office says they are searching for Jeremy White, a man they suspect is connected to the death of 48-year-old Christin Caldwell.

Caldwell was found dead at a home on 3100 block of South 35th West.

White is believed to be driving a white 2004 Jeep Cherokee with Idaho license plate 8B HV461. White is 6 feet tall with brown hair and blue eyes. White may also be traveling with another woman, Denna Rane Aday and she may be in danger. Aday is 5 feet 4 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. They don’t know which way he may be headed but White does have family in Nevada. White is considered armed and dangerous and a warrant for 2nd-degree murder has been issued in Bonneville County for his arrest.

Caldwell’s family lost contact with Christin on Novermber 7th. Her family contacted the Bonneville County Sheriff’s office November 10th to report that she was missing. While investigating her disappearance the sheriff’s office determined that she may have been harmed and a search warrant for the home she and White shared was obtained. During that search her body was found buried in the basement of the home.

The cause of Caldwell’s death has not been determined.

In a statement from the family Christin’s daughter, Cynthia Littleford, said, “I can tell you my mom is the most caring person I know. She would do anything for anyone. She was always helping people even if it made things hard on her. My mom is an amazing woman and she is truly missed. Her grandchildren need her more than anyone understands.”

Original Story: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent homicide.

Sheriff Paul Wilde confirms detectives are investigating the death of a female victim. The investigation began as a missing person case Thursday afternoon.

Wilde said further information will be released later today.
