Man arrested after threatening a woman with a gun, firing it into ceiling
A man was arrested Saturday night after he threatened a woman with a gun and fired the weapon in the ceiling of a home.
Idaho Falls Police arrested 34‐year‐old Skyler D. Norton for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Norton of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to the 600 block of Falls Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance around 11:23 p.m. Officers made contact with a 34‐year‐old woman who told police she and Norton had been arguing. During the argument, Norton pointed a gun to her head and also fired a round into the ceiling of the residence.
