Man arrested for drug possession after DUI stop
An Idaho Falls man was arrested for drug possession early Friday after he was stopped for driving under the influence.
19‐year‐old Chad L. Sudweeks was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence. Sudweeks was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail for possession of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21.
According to reports, officers stopped a 1999 Dodge R15, driven by Sudweeks, in the 600 block of Whittier around 1:17 a.m. During the stop, officers determined Sudweeks was under the influence of alcohol. He was also in possession of Methamphetamine and a 12‐pack of an alcoholic beverage.
