Detailed Forecast for Nov. 15, 2016

Still seeing the area of low pressure to our North and will keep clouds and showers into Central Idaho and points north. Winds will pick up but temps stay very warm. By Wednesday a much stronger push of cold air will drop temps significantly and bring in rain changing over to snow! Tuesday, aside from rain and snow showers developing across the Central Mountains the rest of us can expect a good deal of sunshine and near record breaking highs. Temps climbing well up into the 60’s. Tonight, cold front will begin to work across Idaho bringing in clouds and showers. Temps staying steady into the 40’s. Gusty winds as cold front approaches. Chance of rain 70%. Wednesday, the cold front will be pushing through Wyoming by the latter half of the morning with dropping temps throughout the day. Count on falling snow levels in the evening after the storm slides through. Some of the valley locations could see a few snow showers for the first time this season. Highs a bit cooler with the storm, most places topping out in the upper 40’s. Thursday, expect A 40% chance of snow with Mostly cloudy conditions. High’s near 39° in the Snake River Plain. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
