A cold front is marching through the region with scattered rain and snow showers Overnight into Thursday morning. A much stronger push of cold air will drop temps significantly for Thursday and Friday. Highs for the end for the workweek will only reach into the mid to upper 30’s. Heavy snow will be possible around Henry’s Lake and Island Park. Tonight, snow showers especially from the Snake River Plain and east towards the Wyoming line. Accumulations will be limited for places like the Snake River Plain but several inches of snow are possible in the high country above 7000 feet! Chance of snow 70%. Thursday, expect A 40% chance of light snow showers with mostly cloudy conditions. High’s near 39° in the Snake River Plain. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Friday, patchy freezing fog with lots of sunshine expected by the afternoon! Temps will be much colder with highs into the 30’s and low 40’s. Saturday, partly cloudy with highs into the mid to upper 40’s.
