ISU picks holiday greeting card design

Idaho State University art major Dylan Childress has won a $1,000 prize for creating a winning holiday card design. The design will appear on the front of ISU’s official 2016 holiday greeting card.

The contest was created by ISU First Lady Laura Vailas in 2006. Prize money and printing costs are provided by a donor.

First-year dental sciences student Justin Anderson won the $500 second-prize.

Submissions were judged on how well they were able to “capture the spirit and beauty of the holiday season which thematically incorporating ISU.”
