Zollinger resigns Idaho Falls school board

Idaho Falls District 91 School Board trustee Bryan Zollinger has resigned. His resignation will take effect December 14, 2016.

Zollinger is leaving is because he was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in the November 8 general election.

Zollinger represented Zone 1 on the school board in addition to serving as board clerk. Zone 1 includes the A.H. Bush and Temple View elementary school areas.

The school board is accepting letters of interest from anyone living in the zone who may want to replace Zollinger until December 2.

The board hopes to swear in a new trustee on December 14.
