Pipe bursts at Inkom Elementary School

Inkom Elementary School staff, faculty students and the community came together Friday to clean up the mess left after a water pipe bursting.

About 2 p.m., water leaked out of a classroom into the school’s hallways. Soon the hallways were filled with people working to get the water out with shovels, brooms and other equipment.

Chubbuck cleaning company Rockin R Cleaning and Restoration came to the school to help sop up the water.

The water damaged many teachers’ books, supplies and other equipment in the school. To help the school, Rockin R Cleaning and Restoration will be donating 10 percent of its business revenue for the next three weeks. You can see more information about this here.

The Marsh Valley School District school board toured the school in the afternoon Saturday. Classes have been canceled at the school for there on Monday and Tuesday to help provide more time to clean up.
