Chubbuck business helping replace damaged class supplies, equipment
Rockin R Cleaning and Restoration will be donating 10 percent of its revenue for the next several weeks to Inkom Elementary School to help replace supplies and equipment damaged when a water pipe burst Friday.
David Romriell, owner of the business, heard about the pipe break when his wife, Tabitha Romriell, called him about it. She saw a Facebook post showing water leaking all over one of the classrooms.
After discussing it with an employee, David Romriell made the quick decision to help clean up the mess pro bono.
“I like to do good things for the community if I can. It was my way to give back to all those people who have given back to me in the past,” he said.
In total, three of the classrooms will be needing to replace a significant amount of supplies and equipment. After seeing the damage, David Romriell got another idea to help. For the next three weeks, his business will be donating 10 percent of what it earns.
“I feel the teachers don’t get paid what they should be because a lot of the supplies they have is usually out of pocket,” he said. “(The donations will) will help restock their supplies and hopefully get things back to normal.”
Even after the three weeks, as long as customers mention the school, David Romriell will donate money. You can call the business at 208-220-3680. Their Facebook page is here.
Classes have been canceled at the school Monday and Tuesday to provide more time for cleaning.
