Preserving memories at Family Search Library
The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is a time for family. Websites like ancestry.com recommend families take advantage of being together to record precious memories.
The Idaho Falls Family History Library provides help researching genealogy. It also has tools to help preserve family history. There’s a high speed photo scanner and computer programs to restore pictures.
One section of the Idaho Falls Family Search Library is devoted to volumes families have put together about their own family history.
The Family Search Library is located at 750 West Elva in Idaho Falls and is open Monday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. And Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
